Thursday Morning Class Autumn 2026

Join Ely Clay Collective for 8 weeks of adult pottery classes.

Thursday Mornings, 9:30am-12:15pm

Term starts 8th October 2026 

All abilities welcome — we will be using a variety of hand-building techniques to make pieces of your own design. Each week we will demonstrate a building technique or decorating skill, which you can then use to make whatever kind of ceramic object you wish. We will be demonstrating a range of beginner techniques, and some more advanced ones. You don't have to follow the demonstrations — if you have ceramics experience and have ideas of what you want to achieve in the 8 weeks, we'd love to help you make that a reality!

You'll have plenty of personalised and individual teaching. This is a smaller, more intimate class with a maximum of 12 places.

During some of the lessons we will be focusing on glaze application, and you will be able to fire your pieces to keep.
