5 weeks of wheel throwing designed for beginners and improvers

What we cover:

The lifecycle of a thrown pot, from clay preparation, centering, throwing, trimming, and adding handles. You will leave the course with a good understanding of:

• How to centre and throw a cylinder (the basis for all other shapes)
• How to finish your pots
• Adding a trimmed foot ring
• Adding handles and lugs for function. 

Class size:

5 students, 1 teacher

What is included:

• All your materials and tools
• You may select up to 3 pieces (approximately mug sized) that we will glaze and fire for you to keep at the end of the course.
• Additional fired pieces may be requested, priced from £5 per piece depending on size.

Term structure:

• 2.5 hours of throwing each week inclusive of clean up time.
• 5 Consecutive weeks of class
