Pumpkin Lanterns 7th October

Join us for a 2 hr ceramics workshop at The Yard. Wednesday 7th October 18:15-20:15.

Pumpkins are back by popular demand! We're changing things up a bit this year though - and we'll be making lanterns. Using pinch potting techniques we'll create a pumpkin that you can place a tealight inside to use as a spooky lantern. We'll show you plenty of ways to decorate and add character to your little pumpkin, including adding lots of different shaped holes. Don't want a lantern? This design can easily be switched to make a trinket bowl for your sweets and treats.

We'll guide you through the whole design and build process. All tools are provided, and a drink is included in the price.

If you would like to fire and glaze your piece to keep forever there is an additional £5 charge, which is payable at the end of the workshop either by cash or card. Your piece will be ready for collection from The Yard within 6 weeks of the workshop.
